Cerritos (Calif.) College point guard Ken Brown will be making a visit this weekend to Western Kentucky – and if all goes well, according to Brown, he has plans to sign with the Hilltoppers shortly there after for next season.
Brown, a 6-1 160-pound point guard originally from Soldan High School in St. Louis, told the Daily News by phone this afternoon that as of right now – WKU is No. 1 on his list.
“Right now I’ve told them that if (everything goes well) and I like the visit, that’s where I’ll sign,” Brown said of WKU.
Brown spent the 2008-09 season at Southwest Tennessee Community College before heading to Cerritos College this past season.
While at Southwest Tennessee, Brown averaged seven points and 3.9 assists as a freshman on a squad that went 27-4.
This past season at Cerritos, Brown led the team in scoring (14.4 points per game) and assists (4.1 assists per game). The Falcons finished 18-11 overall.
According to Rivals.com, Brown also has offers from Hawaii, Houston, USC, Lamar, Louisiana-Monroe, Portland State, San Diego State, Texas Southern, Utah, Wichita State and Wyoming.
