Nowhere to go but up: Another No. 120 ranking for WKU

21 06 2010

Rivals.com has recently began its epic ranking of all 120 teams in the country, something it seems that more and more Internet sites have started tackling over the years.

But unlike a lot of those sites (which may or may not consist of one person sitting in a basement somewhere), the folks at Rivals generally have a pretty good idea about what they’re talking about when it comes to these types of things.

In any event – Rivals has started its countdown, and last week, it put the Hilltoppers at No. 120 out of a possible 120.

No real surprise there.

Want to get a better idea of how little this ranking crew thinks of the Hilltoppers in 2010?

Check it out:

“Strengths: RB Bobby Rainey has 1,000-yard potential, and he’ll run behind a line returning four starters. OTs Wes Jeffries and Preston King have All-Sun Belt potential. Rainey also doubles as a dangerous kick returner. Really, that’s it for strengths.  – Mike Huguenin”
