WKU at USF kicks in 25 minutes

25 09 2010

A couple of lineup changes to report today, some that really should come as no surprise.

Western Kentucky true freshmen corners Arius Wright and Tyree Robinson will make their first career starts. They’ll be in place of sophomore Jamal Forrest and junior Derrius Brooks. That’s a performance move, as Robinson and Wright have outperformed Forrest and Brooks.

Also in the secondary, WKU junior safeties Mark Santoro and Ryan Beard are inactive today. Santoro didn’t make the trip, as he continues to rehab a neck injury. Beard, who has a deep thigh bruise, is on the sideline but isn’t dressed.

Redshirt freshman Kiante Young and sophomore Kareem Peterson will get the start at strong and free safety, respectively.

Also, senior guard Mychal Patterson won’t play today – he’ll be replaced in the lineup by sophomore Luke Stansfield.
