WKU 40, ULL 14 end third

23 10 2010

The Ragin’ Cajuns threatened to make this interesting with a score on their first possession, but WKU answers with a one-yard scoring plunge by Jakes and a 43-yard TD catch by backup true frosh tight end Demetrius Coley.

The Hilltoppers have dominated virtually every single aspect of this football game, and are now 15 minutes away from snapping their 26-game losing streak.

Jakes is now 18 of 22 for 262 yards and a touchdown – he’s also ran for 28 yards and two scores.

How does UL-LA have more wins than WKU? Impossible.

Why is Jakes still in the game? We shouldn’t be trying to run up the score after he has already had the game of his life.

Matt Pelesasa the backup transfer QB was put in to kneel on the ball…that is just disrespectful! Remember how you treat people on your way up because you may see them again on your way down. Just unconscienable.

Oh, please Kozowski. No lead is safe with this bunch, not after last week. This is college football not Pop Warner. If you can’t stop ’em, tough. It’s been done to us by others. That’s just the name of the game. If you don’t like it, go watch golf. Unconscienable my backside.

You are right! It has been done to us by others and it isn’t pop warner, but you completely misread the meaning of unconscienable and I do enjoy watching golf. Thanks for the suggestion.
